Hurricane Matthew Update

Posted by Nancy Schreiber on Oct 7, 2016 11:41:11 AM
Good morning everyone!  Hurricane Matthew passed by the east coast of Florida yesterday.  Matthew was a very large, Category 4 hurricane as he passed.  Predictions were for wide-spread heavy damage and destruction.  I am happy to say that our RV parks were all spared and we are open for business as usual!  We want to thank all of the well-wishers including current guests, seasonal guests, friends and family for their thoughts and prayers.  Our current guests were awesome - heeding warnings, quick preparation and excellent communication with us regarding their plans.  This couldn't have turned out better!  Thanks again to all-we dodged a bullet this time but know that we can prepare effectively when needed. Happy camping!

Redland Market Village

Posted by Krystal Trevino on Jul 11, 2016 8:44:32 PM

Everytime I visit Redland Market Village  it takes me back to growing up in the 90's.  Almost every Saturday or Sunday it was a family tradition. We would wake up early in the morning,  jump into my parent's mini van and head to what we referred to as "La Venta". My father would walk around searching for bargains on Nintendo games and by mother would enjoy the Farmer's Market. We have now passed tradition onto our children.  They now look forward to indulging in  "raspas" (shaved ice topped with flavored sugar syrup)

If you visiting the Boardwalk this place is a must!

Here are some things to do at Redland Market Village:

Wat Buddharangsi Buddhist Temple

Posted by Krystal Trevino on Jun 13, 2016 9:00:00 AM

This weekend we decided to take a 6 mile trip to the Wat Buddharangsi Buddhist Temple (located only 6.4 miles from the Boardwalk!).

The Buddhist Temple is located in the Redlands in South Florida. The temple was built back in 1982. There were many obstacles that came with the establishment of the Temple however, with strong efforts and great determination, the Temple today is strong and thriving.

Simply approaching Wat Buddharangsi Buddhist Temple, you are overcome by an unexplainable internal peace. I was taken away the minute our car approached the parking lot. The golden trim of the temple and the breath-taking landscaping takes you to an unexplainable place.
